Health & LifestyleHow can I be more Beautiful?

If you are reading this article with the hope of learning how to be a more beautiful person, you’ve come to the right place – in ‘How can I be more Beautiful’ we offer three tips that will help you to better yourself.
If, on the other hand, you are looking for answers on improving your exterior self, it’s quite probable that you need to do some inner work to help you understand that beauty really does come from within. It’s only when you grasp this, that you can truly enjoy all of the wonders that life has to offer.
1. Show Kindness
We all have the ability to be kind but sometimes we need reminding. There’s nothing more ugly than selfishness; anyone who thinks only of themselves is not what we would consider beautiful. Kindness, however, is at the other end of the spectrum.
Make an effort to be kind anytime you can. This doesn’t just count for times when you might hold a door for somebody, or help an elderly person carry their shopping bags. While those acts of kindness are admirable, kindness also means showing empathy for how other people feel, and being able to take their feelings into consideration, no matter what the situation.
Sometimes we are faced with people who emit negative emotions, such as anger, nastiness and jealousy, and it’s even more important in these trying moments to consider the fact that the person giving off these emotions, is probably in need of a lot of love. Just be grateful that you have developed to a stage of maturity and spiritual awareness where you no longer feel the need to react in a negative manner but rather, you are able to feel empathy for them.
2. Be Grateful
A truly beautiful person knows that they are fortunate for every experience they encounter, whether good or bad. You must remember that everything that happens in your life is a chance for you to learn and better yourself from that experience, which is why everyone has something they can feel grateful for – if they choose to.
Showing gratitude also helps us to develop better connections with the people around us. The recipient of your gratitude will know that anything they do for you is appreciated and they will be more inclined to give you more to be grateful for. You, also, will feel more drawn to people who show gratitude to you. It makes for a perfect relationship with family members, friends, partners, colleagues and, in fact, anyone you meet.
3. Humility
In ‘Be Humble – you Might be Pleasantly Surprised’, we explain that money and success, do not define who you are – if you let these things guide you, there’s no doubt you will attract the wrong kind of attention. The truth is that you are not better than anyone else, and no one is better than you. Your self-esteem will develop out of this realization.
Being humble and being kind are two sides of the same coin – not everyone has as much as you, not to mention some people are going through difficult times, the last thing they need is people showing them an attitude of entitlement.
You’ll notice that the most successful people tend to carry a humble attitude, they don’t have big egos and they are grateful for everything they have. You too, can take this approach and always choose gratitude and humility over the ego, which so often tries to rear its ugly head.

I can be more beautiful by taking everything that I think, say and do to the Lord in prayer. When I take everything to Him in prayer I become more grateful, more kinder, more loving, more forgiving, and more humbling. .
