Seven Signs You're Destined to be an Entrepreneur

Untitled-design-6

Entrepreneurship. It’s one of the most exciting and rewarding roles anyone can experience but is it for you? Have you got an undiscovered entrepreneurial streak inside you that is just waiting to be freed? Read this article, which lists seven signs you are destined to be an entrepreneur, to find out.

1. You do not Conform to Norms

Conforming is not in your nature; you go against the grain, test the boundaries and often break rules. Known to be a rebel, you have your own way of doing things and refuse to follow traditions. You’ll happily separate yourself from the world when you have your teeth stuck into a project.

2. You’re a Self-Starter

You work off your own initiative and nothing annoys you more than being told what to do. Any task that is applied to you, is carried out with pure determination and effort, and motivation runs through your veins.

3. Risk Excites You

You are not afraid to take chances and have good judgement when it comes to taking risks. Any successful businessperson will tell you that risk-taking is essential to entrepreneurship. Your ability to experiment with new ideas and take chances gives you the potential to become a major success.

4. You’re Bursting With Ideas

Ideas are literally sweating from your pores, so much so that every one of your friends and family members has heard at least three of your ideas. Inspiration strikes you at any time and you often experience lightbulb moments that appear out of nowhere.

Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, says, “There is no such thing as a bad idea. Any idea can be a great idea, if you think differently, dream big, and commit to seeing it realised.”

5. Giving up is not an Option

The only way you choose to think is positive – you are a problem-solver and no issue is ever too big for you to overcome. You don’t dwell on failures or mistakes, instead, you jump straight back up and try again.

It’s rare that a successful businessperson ever strikes gold with their first venture, in fact, many encounter multiple failures before reaching their goals but what matters, is they never give up!

6. You’re a Multi-Tasker

An entrepreneur doesn’t have to be academic – they just have to have a willingness to learn and feel passionate about picking up new skills. Every entrepreneur wears multiple hats; taking on many roles, ranging from admin to bookkeeping, to marketing.

You are comfortable with adapting to new roles and don’t shy away from hard work; when you’re doing something you love, there’s no stopping you!

7. All the Signs are There

If most of the above signs ring true for you then your destiny is pointing to entrepreneurship. You are not supposed to have a ‘normal’ career, and you know it. You just need to take that leap of faith and fully believe in your capability!
